This is an awesome last minute deal to Vienna on Air Transat. You can leave either July 26th or July 29th and return either August 10th or the 13th. This is a very good deal on a convenient direct flight between YUL and VIE.

Boston $301 (US) $315 (Canadian)

Flights between Canada and the United States incure heavy taxes of about US$50 each way and so this price is better than it appears. Book this deal on Orbitz with a flexible dates search in August and September. This is a one connection US Airways flight. Alternatively you can book a direct flight on Air Canada's site for a little bit more, Cdn$339, available on many more days. Enjoy new england!

Aruba $417 (US) $435 (Canadian)

A very attractive price to get to this southern caribbean island. There is however a catch: you'll need to first take a US$72 RT bus to Philadelphia - which you need to book at least 15 days ahead at the Berri - central Montreal - bus terminal. The flight is between PHL and AUA for US$345 and it can be booked on Orbitz by doing a flexible date search in October. The flight is an American Airlines flight connecting through San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU).

Buenos Aires, Argentina $804 (US) $838 (Canadian)

Available only on very limited dates this one connection flight between YUL and EZE is an amazing deal. Book by going to Orbitz and doing a flexible date search for late August - early September. This flight is offered by Aerolineas Argentinas and the one connection is at JFK. The only drawback is that there appears to be a very long layover in New York (10 hours) but what better place for a layover? Example dates where this flight was found is September 9th to September 17th 2007.

Shanghai, China $1100 (US) $1164 (Canadian)

This is a good airfare deal between YUL and PVG (Shanghai) from American Airlines in September. To find this deal use Orbitz flexible dates search to find days where the $1263 fare is available and then go to American Airlines's site to book the same flight for Cdn$1164. Be sure to put Canada as your country of residence when you search for the flight. One example day of when this fare is available is Sep 11 - Sep 18 2007.

Toronto $20 (US) $22 (Canadian)

Although this is mostly a flight deals blog I thought I should mention the amazingly cheap bus deals available from Coach Canada. This semi-permanent sale can be booked on their website look for $10 fares (each way) from late August 2007 till the end of September 2007. There are also $18, $28, and $38 fares available on days where there are no $10 fares. The only problem with this sale is that you need to select the exact hour of your departure. Coach Canada is the only bus company that travels directly between Montreal and Toronto Greyhound takes a detour through Ottawa.
